2020-KOT-Moderus

When one says that word of mouth is the engine of economy…

During the finishing works on the 6th floor for ref. A&G (2020-A&G-Moderus) someone noticed us.

The building was a new construction with about 80 flats and we had been working there for almost three years…

It is useless to say that our way of working is very different from Russian standards, even in a VIP location such as this one.

The Slovene construction company had already worked with me in Chechnya; they knew Russian reality well and were able to move without any logistic problems for the supply of the materials and of the ordinary building equipment. (All the technology for the electrical and mechanical plants arrived directly from Italian suppliers).

The building site was always clean, tidy and totally safe and that was probably the reason why it aroused more than an interest.

And then the architect was Italian!

Any new owner that leaves the sales office (as I have already explained in other examples of Russian works in the portfolio 2017-KRS-Moderus and 2017-MOD-Moderus) needs the right partner in order to complete the finishes of his or her flat.

This was the reason why Moderus Interior was called in to prepare a suggestion for a new flat of about 130square metres in the central block of the condominium in this really exclusive location with view on the Kremlim.

The planimetric solution suggested by the builder of the Klubniy Dom was rather banal and for this reason, in accordance with the exigencies expressed by my client, I tried to “give movement” to a flat which only had two short sides with windows.

The three variants, which I prepared at the beginning of 2020, were an attempt to reduce the distributive spaces at the minimum and to concentrate, in the centre of the flat, the secondary rooms, such as corridors, wardrobes and services, so as to leave ample liberty in the bedrooms and in the living area.

Thanks to the Moscow office we completed the proposal with a reasoned selection of furniture (Medea and Essedue Comfort design) studied according to the client’s tastes.
