2018-A&M-Moderus

The interior project was in this case of the good Russian architect Eugeny Alekminsky, who realized a modern flat for his young clients. In it wood (oak) and concrete dialogue continuously.

Both floors and walls were in fact treated with great expertise in a mixture of materials, roles and combinations.

The owners, directed to me by my partner in Moscow, Moderus interior, asked me to deal with the “problem” kitchen.

The request was very clear, because the lady of the house had no doubts: Italian quality, but Russian practicality.

Following her directions I projected a kitchen with food storage, among the most complicated in my career. In fact I had to draw 23 tables of executive designs to try and translate, in the best way, all the needs required for the carpentry charged with the execution of the project.

The kitchen had glass (rigorously black and white) sashes with aluminium frame. There were no handles. The kitchen exploited all the possible spaces, reached the ceiling with a series of wall units of different depths, had storage units on the columns, total extraction baskets under the windows and illuminated seatbacks.
