2007-VIC-Promemoria

Thanks to the far-sightedness of a well-known family of local entrepreneurs, the fifteenth-century palazzo Braschi-Brunello lives a new life.

After completing a meticulous plan of conservatory restoration, the owners decided to entrust Romeo Sozzi -and his good taste- with all the parts concerning the decoration of the interiors. The spaces were rationalized, the surfaces were enriched with finishes of precious and refined materials. Pieces from the Promemoria collection found their space next to the antiques bought by the lady of the house.

Thanks to the collaboration of the Morseletto Laboratory, we planned bathrooms in Vicenza stone with sunken wash-basins, monolithic shower-plates and really unique wall covering.

The rosewood panelling, the various fittings and the walls upholstered in leather with curvilinear texture and wefts tone on tone were all made by the Promemoria workshop in Valmadrera.

My role was that of working side by side with Romeo Sozzi and manage, for Promemoria, the whole job order: from the survey on the ground to the drawing-up of the sketches for the clients and the executive ones for the production.
